Privacy Policy
Version 1.0. Last updated 27 October 2026.
In short
- We keep your email or mobile number (whichever you sign in with), your name and what is scored in sessions. Your photo is optional.
- No ads, no tracking tools, and we never sell your data.
- Other players can find you by name or number, and see your name, photo and the last four digits of your number. Never your email.
- You can delete your account in the app and your details go at once.
1. Who we are
T-30 is made by WCASPORTS LLP of 415, GCN Green Springs, Spring Dale Layout, Whitefield, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560066 (“we”, “us”). This policy covers the T-30 app and this website, t-30.net.
We decide why and how your personal data is used, which makes us the “data fiduciary” under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the DPDP Act). You are the “data principal”. How to reach us is in section 11.
2. What we collect
We collect only what the app needs. Some of it you give us, and some is entered by other people who use the app (for example a scorer who adds you to a team).
| What | Why we need it |
|---|---|
| Email and password, or mobile number | To sign you in, with an email and a password, or with an Indian mobile number and a one-time code we send by SMS. We email you a code to confirm your email, and when you reset your password. Your password is stored only in a scrambled (hashed) form that nobody can read, not even us. We also use your email or number to match you to the player record a scorer may have made for you, and to contact you if needed. Guest accounts have neither. |
| Name | To show on your profile, scorecards and in search, so other players can find you. |
| Mobile number (optional with email) | To match you to the player record a scorer may have made with your number, and so other players can find you by it. We check the number with an SMS code before it goes on your profile. One number can be on only one T-30 account. You can leave it blank if you sign in with an email. |
| Photo (optional) | To show on your profile and scorecards. Only you can add or change your own photo. The app asks for access to your photos or camera only when you choose to add one. |
| Playing details (optional) | Your player type and batting or bowling style, to complete your profile. |
| Sessions and balls | Every ball a scorer saves (batter, bowler, shot, runs, extras, wickets), and who scored the session. This produces scorecards, stats and analytics. |
| Teams and players you add | If you make a team or add a player, we keep the name, email and mobile number you typed for that person, so they can be picked again and can claim the record when they sign up. |
| Follows and bell notices | Who you follow and who follows you, and the notices in your bell (for example, that someone you follow started a session). |
| Number complaints | If you tell us that another account has your mobile number, we keep the number, your note, which account had it and what we decided, so we can look into it. We may contact you or the other account to check. |
| Reports and blocks | If you report a player, we keep who reported whom, the reason, your note and what we did, so we can review it. The player is not told who reported them. If you block a player, we keep that so the block works. |
| Your agreement | The version of the Terms and this policy you agreed to, and the date and time, as proof of your consent. |
| Technical records | When you last signed in, and whether your login is active. Whether you use T-30 on Android, iPhone or the website, the T-30 app version, and when you last opened it, to help fix problems and to understand how T-30 is used. We do not record your phone model or your location. Our providers also keep standard server logs (such as your IP address and the time of a request) to keep the service secure. When someone uses guest login, we keep the internet address it came from for 30 days, only to limit how many guest logins one network can make. When an SMS code is sent, we keep the number and the time for 2 days, only to limit how many codes one number can get. |
The app also saves some of your data on your own phone, so it works without a signal: scores waiting to upload, and the last lists you opened. Deleting your account clears this from the phone.
We do not collect your location, your contacts, your microphone or your messages. The app has no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking tools.
3. How we use it
- To run the app: sign you in, keep your sessions and stats, and show them to the right people (section 4).
- To send you notices inside the app, such as the bell notice when someone you follow starts a session.
- To keep the app safe and fix problems, and to answer your questions and complaints.
- To meet legal duties.
We use your data on the basis of your consent, which you give by ticking the box when you sign in, and for the other uses the DPDP Act allows. We do not use it for advertising and we do not build profiles of you to sell.
If a scorer adds you to a team or session before you have signed up, we keep your name and the email or mobile number as the scorer entered them. If you never sign up, you can ask us to delete that record (section 7).
4. Who can see what in the app
- Other people who use T-30 can search for you by name (three letters or more) or by mobile number (six digits or more) if you added one. The result shows your name, the last four digits of your mobile number (if any) and your player type. Your email is never shown to other players. They can follow you, and they can see your photo.
- Scorecards can be seen by the person who scored the session and the players in it. If you follow someone, you get a bell notice when they start a session and can open the live match.
- A watch code lets anyone who has it watch one live session for 48 hours. Share it only with people you want to watch.
- A scorecard link. After a session ends, its scorer can make a link to the final scorecard. Anyone who has the link can see that scorecard (the players' names and their numbers in that session) at t-30.net, without signing in, until the scorer stops the link in the app. Stopping it works at once.
- Photos are stored as image files with a web address. The address is not listed anywhere, but anyone who has it can open the photo, without signing in.
- Our administrator. The people at WCASPORTS LLP who run T-30 can see accounts, players and sessions, to run and support the app and to remove accounts or content that break the Terms.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is open. When you delete your account (section 7), we delete it from our live systems straight away, with the exceptions below.
A guest account that is not used for 30 days is deleted automatically, in the same way.
- Sessions you scored together with other players stay for those players, so their scorecards and numbers are not lost. They no longer say who scored them, and you appear in them only as “Deleted player”, with no name, mobile number, email or photo.
- Our database provider keeps backups for a short time. Deleted data can remain in a backup until it expires, normally within 30 days, and is not used for anything else.
- Logs kept by our providers are deleted on their own schedules.
- We may keep what the law requires us to keep.
7. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you can:
- ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and who we share it with;
- correct or complete it (you can change your own name, email, photo and playing details in the app, under Edit profile);
- ask us to erase it. Settings, then Delete my account, does this at once. How to delete your account also covers people who cannot sign in;
- withdraw your consent at any time. Deleting your account does this;
- have a complaint heard (section 11); and
- name another person to use these rights for you if you die or cannot act for yourself.
To use a right, write to us at t30cricketapp@gmail.com from the email address on your profile, or tell us the email you sign in with so we can check it is you. We reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer to your complaint, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India, once you have first given us the chance to put it right.
8. Children
A child is anyone under 18. A child may use T-30 only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian, and the tick box at sign-in asks you to confirm that you are 18 or older, or that you have that permission.
T-30 shows no advertising, and we do not track or monitor the behaviour of anyone, children included. A parent or guardian can write to us to see, correct or delete a child’s data.
9. Keeping it safe
Data travels between the app and our servers over an encrypted connection. Access to the database is limited by rules that let each person reach only what they are meant to, and sign-in needs your email and password, or a one-time code we send by SMS to your mobile number. A new account, and a password reset, need a code we email to you. No system is completely secure. If a breach affects your data, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
This website does not use cookies, scripts or analytics. Our web host keeps standard server logs.
10. Changes to this policy
When we change this policy we change the version number and the date at the top. If a change matters for your consent, the app asks you to agree again. The current version is 1.0.
