An example session, worked out with the same rules the app uses.
Set up a session
Choose a team, or make one, then pick up to two batters at a time and as many bowlers as you like, all on one screen. Set how many balls each batter faces, and, if you want them, a target and a limit on outs. Start now, or schedule it for later with a date and a time. You do not need to pick the players first.
Add a player by searching for them, or type in a new name and mobile number. When that person later signs in with the same number, their sessions are already there.
Score each ball
Tap the shot, or tap quick runs from 0 to 6 if all you want is the runs. Change the runs on any ball. Add a wide, no-ball, bye or leg bye. Tap Out and say how: bowled, caught, LBW, stumped, hit wicket or other. Made a mistake? Undo the last ball.
Change the bowler at any time, take a player out of the session, or add a shot of your own to the list. Recording the length, line and type of each delivery is optional and starts switched off. You also choose whether a batter carries on after getting out, and how many runs an out costs.
Keep going with no signal
Scoring carries on with no connection. The session is kept on the phone and uploads by itself when the connection comes back. Adding a brand-new player needs a connection.
Let others watch
The scorer shares a six-character code that works for 48 hours. Anyone with the app can enter it and watch the session update every few seconds. Players in the session see it on their Home screen. Follow a player and the bell in the app tells you when they start a session.
You can also watch on the web: open t-30.net/live, enter the code, and the scorecard updates by itself.
Read the scorecard
Every session has a traditional scorecard: runs, balls, fours, sixes and strike rate for each batter; overs, runs, wickets and economy for each bowler; extras; and the fall of wickets. Ball by ball lists every ball, newest first. Summary shows the pitch and weather, who faced whom and the shots played.
When a session ends, the scorer can name a best player, a best batter and a best bowler.
Compare players
Stats and Analytics keeps a record for every player: runs, balls, average, strike rate, fours, sixes, dot balls and how they got out. For bowling it keeps overs, economy, wickets, wides and no-balls. It shows recent form, personal bests and session-by-session charts.
Put two players side by side, or use Face-off to see how one batter does against the other one’s bowling. Filter by period, pitch and weather.
These are practice runs from net sessions. They are not official match statistics.
Make it yours
Choose a colour theme, including a dark one. Add your own profile photo; only you can add yours. You can try the app first as a guest, with no sign-up. A guest’s sessions are lost when they sign out.
Your data stays yours
T-30 shows no ads and does not sell what you enter. You can delete your account from Settings inside the app. Read the Privacy Policy or see how to delete your account.
